If she didn't really love her home town of Waldeck, life would have taken her to a different place long ago. However, Elisabeth Zintl and her family are committed to their roots and feel connected to their home.
She originally qualified as a bank clerk and established herself as a bank manager. But coming from a family of hospitality professionals, you simply can't go against your nature. In addition to her family, Elisabeth Zintl dedicated herself with great passion to her training as a chef and added an additional training course to become a diet chef. She is now the fifth generation to run her parents' Landhotel in the Oberpfalz and has added a few smart details to the family business, Landhaus Zum Hirschen.
"For me, home is not just a gift, but also an obligation," says the Waldeck native. Like many rural regions, the Oberpfalz is also struggling with the emigration of young people. More and more houses are left empty.
