It is one of the smallest village houses in Waldeck. But certainly one of the oldest. Preservationists assume that it was already standing on the Handelsstraße before the market was rebuilt. The numerous strips we found in the basement of the house suggest that it was inhabited by a shoemaker.
Without changing the structure of the cozy building, we managed to integrate 4 apartments. The vaults and a Schwarzkuchl were saved. The result is charming and cozy rooms and bathrooms. The open half-timbered roof gable and the refurbished natural stone walls are a delight. All in all, a magical and unique atmosphere.
